| News *February 19* Happy New Years! Shakir has come home and is now available for sale, as is Shaan; both are located in Kamloops. The next trip to the lower mainland is February 20th to 22nd, please call or email to book an appointment. Trips are also available more frequently to the Northeast of BC. *December 4* Where has all the snow gone? We had quite the melt today! Anyhow, university has kept me extremely busy for the past month, but I can finally see the end of the semester and will be done with the closing of the week. I am more available now for sessions in the area, and will be making a trip to the coast next week. Have a wonderful December and be careful on the roads! Upcoming Therapy Trip: Lower Mainland - December 9-12 *October 16* Ah, midterms are almost complete! I have moved into Kamloops now, and am in search of board for Shamsu in town. I also need to find somewhere to keep Shaan (the yearling gelding) or sell/lease/commission him...let me know if you are, or know of anyone who is, interested! The Mane Event is this weekend, hope to see many of you there, remember to come say hi! Upcoming Therapy Trip: Lower Mainland - October 18-21, come check out our booth at the Mane Event...will still be booking appointments throughout the lower mainland for the weekend. *September 9* We're into the season of golden leaves, school, and fuzzy ponies already this year! I am slowly finding homes for my horses, but still need help if anyone knows of places. An update on Shamsu: another stallion from down the road got into his paddock and picked a fight with him...it ended up with Shamsu having a puncture wound in his neck from a bite. He now has 4 holes in his neck (yay)...please send us positive thoughts that the wound gets over the infection/pus stage and heals quickly. Upcoming Therapy Trip: Lower Mainland - September 20-23 tentatively, 12 horse minimum. *August 14* Ah the time passes so quickly, and summer is almost gone. Much has happened in the past month, mainly the breaking of Nero's (my dog) leg...what a fortune that leg is costing me! So I have come to a point where I need to decide whether to sacrifice my herd of horses for school, so that I may one day finally make an income that allows my horses to be affordable, or dedicate myself to the horses and working at a random job full time. Sadly I have decided that school must be completed, and the sooner it is done, the sooner I can afford to have all the horses I want! So, I am finding homes for all of my horses. I would like to sell my young ones, and preferably lease Ginger and Shamsu. Situations seem to be coming together...Shaan, the yearling, is being the most difficult to find a home for. Anyhow, that is my life story to date. In any case, life goes on. Here are the upcoming events: Upcoming Therapy Trips: Lower Mainland - August 17th-20th - Minimum of 12 horses need to be booked. Shows/Gymkhanas: PBH Gymkhana, McLure BC - August 25th - email barrelstar@hotmail.com for more info. North Thompson Fall Fair & Rodeo - Light Horse Show - September 1-3 - NT Fall Fair Grounds. Come out and have fun at our 3 day show: English, 4H, Western. Great prizes and much fun to be had! *July 19* Apologies for the late announcement, but Ginger had her foal finally!! She had a beautiful little bay colt who we named Shakir. He is healthy and happy and available for sale. I have decided to finish my BA Degree this year and go on to get my Education Degree, therefore I need to find homes for most of my horses as it is impossible to support them while I attend University and BCCET, and work. I am open to free leasing out any of my horses, as well as selling them. Good homes are most important. Don't forget about the upcoming North Thompson Fall Fair & Rodeo from September 1st to 3rd 2007. As I am convening the Light Horse Section/Show, I am always looking for sponsors and am happy to take equiries about entry. This weekend is the last two dates in the Happy & Healthy Horse Clinic Series. Friday July 20th is the Anatomy section and Saturday July 21st is the Massage section. The BDR Gymkhana is also still scheduled for Sunday at the Fall Fair Grounds.
