Equine Sport Therapy
As a horse owner and rider for many years I have slowly come to realize how integral my horses well being is to their performance.  With that in mind I embarked on the adventure of learning Equine Sport Therapy at the B.C. College of Equine Therapy in Vernon.  As a student there I have been learning more than I ever could have imagined, and have already been improving he lives of as many horses as I can.

To me, equine sport therapy isn't only about pampering your horse and showing them how much you appreciate them...it's about treating your athlete or companion's body the same way you treat your own.  When your horse is off, specialized care can help bring them back...when they are in performance, it can keep them on the top of their game...and when they are relaxing out in the pasture, it can help express your appreciation of all the great times they have shared with you.

The focus of my sessions are harmony and balance, and the maintenance of the two within your horse.  A harmonious and balanced horse is a happy horse!  Rather than rush through a session, I will take the time to make sure that each individual has been treated to the best of my ability, and you as the owner/rider are happy with the results!

Sessions
Treatment Sessions begin with an assessment of the horse: how he/she moves, how well the muscles of movement are working, whether there are any imbalances needing to be corrected, and a once over of individual muscles.  Each session can last between 1/2 hour and 2 hours, depending on the individual horse.

Spa Sessions are meant to relax your horse, stimulate circulation, and move lymph to prevent or clear congestion. These can be combined with a herbal treatment to enhance calmness and centredness.

Saddle Fitting is available and includes an assessment of your saddle and the installation of shims/material if your saddle is suitable for correction.

Rates: Please inquire for current rates.

Travelling: For travelling to areas outside of the North Thompson there is generally a minimum number of horses required to fill a trip. However, if you would like to book an appointment and don't mind paying travel, a charge can be applied...usually a very reasonable one.

* Please note that all rates reflect the fact that I am still a student, and will change without notice.

FREE MASSAGE: For every five horses that you arrange the bookings for, the sixth horse will receive a free massage. So gather your stable mates, friends, or herd together so that your horse can get a free massage!
Upcoming Trips
Sessions can be booked in the Kamloops area most any time as I live in Kamloops.  For those interested in having horses worked on outside of the area, please contact me to arrange a trip, if we can arrange to do a number of horses then the trip expenses can be split between owners. Upcoming Trips:
